村级建制依次为乡（1983年）、农村管理区（1986年）、村民委员会（1999年之后）[1]。该村在2019年12月列入「第一批国家森林乡村」名单，同年10月入选「2019年广东省卫生村」名录[1]。该村列入「2018年广东省“民主法治示范村（社区）”创建单位」名单，公布于2019年9月[1]。
