大仁庙村属茂名市高州市平山镇，是该镇辖下的行政村[2]。据博雅地名网所载，村名与古代英雄葛三先锋及其战马有关：英雄葛三先锋和他的战马死后，有庙祭祀，村名与庙名相同，村民想把两者分开，就把村名中的“人”换成同音的“仁”，此前也叫大人庙村[1]。该说法只见于这一处，未见其他来源。

历史沿革[edit]

村级建制的演变：1983年建乡，1986年起称农村管理区，1999年之后为村民委员会，沿用至今[1]。

镇情介绍提到，本村的马古坟被列为省级文物保护单位[2]。2021年9月，该村（荔枝）列入「第二批广东省“一村一品、一镇一业”专业村」名单；2019年10月入选「2019年广东省卫生村」名录[1]。该村列入「2018年广东省“民主法治示范村（社区）”创建单位」名单，公布于2019年9月[1]。
