地名由来[edit]

据博雅地名网所载，村名取“高尚雄伟”之意。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1957年高雄村设高级社社址，次年并入石板高级社，此后隶属大同公社的石板管理区。到1960年体制下放，才另立大队，队址先在村里一间地主的屋子，1969年迁到山坡上，地名叫柍地坡。1983年称高雄乡，1986年起称农村管理区，1999年设村民委员会。[1]

荣誉[edit]

高雄村获「广东省卫生村」称号（广东省爱卫会，2021年12月）；2026年3月，被认定为第三批省级「百千万工程」典型村镇。[1]
