秧坡村是茂名市高州市宝光街道所辖的行政村，因村民在山坡上种植作物而得名。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1962年设大队；1983年起称秧坡乡，1986年起为管理区，1999年起设秧坡村民委员会。[1]

2021年12月，村获“2021年广东省卫生村”称号；2019年9月，在广东省2018年「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单上。[1]
