历史沿革[edit]

1953年为清河乡，1958年改称生产大队，1983年复称乡，1987年起设村委会，1989年称管理区，1999年又称村委会。[1]

概况[edit]

相传村子建在河边，河水清澈见底，因而得名；村委会设在该村。据博雅地名网所载，全村分23个村民小组，在册1380户、5222人，总面积1.75平方公里，耕地1680亩；种四季豆、茄瓜、玉米。2021年12月，获2021年广东省卫生村称号。[1]
