附城村是广东省茂名市电白区水东街道下辖的行政村，在水东县城郊区。村委会由1980年代初的三个生产大队合并而成，1999年起称附城村委会；下分18个村民小组，人口8487人（在册3250户）。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

博雅地名网的沿革写道：1965年，城岭和上排两个生产大队，与原属南海公社镇西生产所的罗屋、盐灶、大路铺、上埗头和下埗头这五个自然村并到一起，称镇郊生产大队；1980年拆为城岭、上排、罗屋三个大队；1983年取消大队、设管理区，当年4月三部分又合一，定名附城管理区；到1999年，改称附城村委会，沿用至今。[1]「附城」一名的历史较悠久，村委会因此得名。[2]

经济[edit]

村情资料载：全村总面积2平方千米，耕地300亩，主要种蔬菜，村民不少在县城务工；村里推广多种水东芥菜，也组织青年学习技术去珠江三角洲打工。该资料未注明年份。[1]
