城南街道是广东省茂名市茂南区下辖的街道，位于茂名市中心城区南部，下辖低埒、大岭仔、铜鼓岭、长久坡、后岭、秀色、锦堂、站南、大发塘9个社区。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

2007年2月8日，茂名市人民政府批准把原属站前街道的一片辖区划出，单独建立城南街道，归茂南区管辖，此后名称未变。[1]

街道名称取自它在茂名市中心城区之南的方位。[1]

人口与区划[edit]

据博雅地名网，街道辖区面积约5.19平方千米。2021年6月公布的第七次全国人口普查结果显示，城南街道人口为6.01万人，在茂南区各街道乡镇中居第8位。[1]

下辖9个社区中，站南社区属主城区，其余8个为城乡结合区；大岭仔社区的前身是1958年的大岭仔大队，其余社区多在1992年至2001年间设立居委会。[1]
