碌西村是广东省湛江市吴川市王村港镇下辖的行政村，西南邻覃巴镇[1]。辖9条自然村，其中4条是革命老区；总人口5086人、1100多户，面积4.5平方公里；南朝时期的大乌岭墓群在村北[1][3]。

历史沿革[edit]

碌西最早在1951年立为行政村，属梅茂县王村港乡；1953年归吴川县第二区（覃巴），1957年为覃巴区王村港乡的碌西小乡，1958年为覃巴公社碌西大队。1964年大队曾分出一部分，1979年归王村港公社，1983年设乡委会，1988年改村委会，沿用至今[2]。

地理与经济[edit]

耕地1985多亩；地形以丘陵山地为主，沿海有防护林带、滩涂和港口[1]。种植水稻、花生、番薯、果蔗和水果，渔业有海洋捕捞和对虾养殖，村内建有万亩葵业基地；大王公路经过村内[1]。2002年全省32个扶贫试点村庄中，有该村委会辖下的村庄[1]。村内有碌西小学和大位小学[1]。

名胜古迹[edit]

大乌岭墓群在村北的大乌岭上，是南朝时期的二次葬墓群，以陶瓮为葬具；1986年已见露出地面的瓮棺墓24处，清理了其中两座：一座由两瓮口对口相接，全长82厘米；另一座由四瓮套接而成，全长75厘米，墓内未见骸骨和随葬品[3]。
