历史沿革[edit]

村名来历：位于东洋平原腹部，四周是农田，与北泮洋村相对，位置在南，故名南泮洋。[1]

沿革：以下由近及远：1999年设置村民委员会；1987年2月设置南泮洋管理区；1983年分开，设置南泮洋乡；1979年与北泮洋合设置大队；1960年为附城公社农场大队。[1]

荣誉[edit]

2019年9月，该村列入广东省2018年「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单。[1]
