历史沿革[edit]

沿革：以下由近及远：据该村简介，明宣德年间的1426年，黄、崔、宋三姓先祖从福建莆田等地迁到此处，其他姓氏随后陆续迁入建村。1999年12月设置村民委员会；1990年至1998年11月分设置北营管理区；1984年至1989年隶属于土角乡；1979年至1983年分设置北营大队；1958年至1978年隶属于土角大队；1951年至1957年隶属于东洋区南田乡。[1]

名胜古迹[edit]

北营村黄氏宗祠是北营乡农民协会的成立地：1924年11月，海康县的农运先行者黄杰以国民党中央农民部特派员的身份在此组织农会并任会长。博雅地名网称这是广东南路地区的第一个乡农会。宗祠建于清嘉庆七年，面积约250平方米。[2]
