附城镇是广东省湛江市雷州市辖下的镇，在雷州古城的东侧，东面是南海的雷州湾，北面毗连沈塘镇，位于东洋平原上。镇名取自它紧挨国家级历史文化名城雷州城。[1]全镇面积121.33平方千米，辖33个行政村，第七次全国人口普查时有约10.2万人，在雷州市各街道乡镇中居第2位。[1]1987年4月撤区设镇，镇内有超海宫、南村天后宫、陈瑸故居等文物古迹。[1][3]

历史沿革[edit]

建国之初，本镇一带是海康县的第一区。此后的变迁依次为：1957年一分为东洋、卜扎二乡；1958年同雷城、客路、沈塘、白沙并为超美公社；1961年划入附城区，其后立附城公社；1984年3月公社改称附城区公所；1987年4月区公所撤销，改为镇建制。[1]

地理环境[edit]

镇政府驻雷州城环城东路，东濒南海，西靠雷城。据博雅地名网所载镇情，耕地约6.7万亩，33个管理区共含104个自然村，总人口83533人（该页未注明年份）；东部沿海有3万多亩滩涂。[2]镇内的岚北、岚南两村位于南渡河的出海口一带；南渡河是雷州半岛腹部最大的河流，干流全长88公里，在雷州市双溪口注入雷州湾。[4][5]

据上述镇情介绍，附城镇长期是雷州城的粮、油、肉、菜、鸭、蛋供应地：东部滩涂多开辟为鱼塘、虾池，水面兼养鸭，鸭蛋年产千余吨；该镇调整农业布局后形成「东鱼虾，西果菜，南稻谷、北甘蔗」的格局，并称实现了湛江市第一个亩产吨粮镇。[2]这是该页的自述，未注明具体年份。2020年8月，芙蓉村以罗非鱼入选首批广东省「一村一品、一镇一业」专业村。[6]

名胜古迹[edit]

  • 超海宫：在夏岚（今岚北、岚南两村）东边的海滩上，始建于明正德年间（1506年至1521年），砖石木结构，四进三道门的四合院式布局，主体保持清同治年间重修后的面貌，以「番鬼托梁」斗拱木雕著称。2008年先被湛江市列保，2010年晋升为省级文物保护单位。[3][7]
  • 南村天后宫：在韶山村，宋代末年建成，1897年重修，列入2022年7月公布的第十批广东省文物保护单位。[3][8]
  • 陈瑸故居：在南田村，是清代官员陈瑸的出生地，占地160平方米，2004年重修，旁有纪念园林清端园。[3][9]
  • 雷祖诞降处：在英山南村，旧时「雷阳八景」之「雷冈耸异」的中心，雷州市1994年9月将其列为文物保护单位。[3]
  • 镇海雷祠：在龙头村，相传为宋代开凿东西洋水渠时祭祀雷祖陈文玉而建，雷州市1994年9月将其列为文物保护单位。[3]
  • 黄氏宗祠：在北营村，1924年11月北营乡农民协会在此成立。据博雅地名网转述，这是广东南路地区的第一个乡农会。[3]

著名人物[edit]

陈瑸出身海康县（今雷州市），清康熙年间先后任台湾知县、偏沅巡抚、福建巡抚，曾兼摄闽浙总督，1718年在任上去世；据传他在福建巡抚任上捐出养廉银，并奏请拨款修筑南渡河大堤，以防海潮。[3][9]

荣誉[edit]

荣誉方面，该镇先后被认定为「湛江市文明镇」「湛江市先进文明镇」（均为2022年9月），并被命名为「广东省卫生乡镇」（2023年度，2024年3月）。[1]2026年3月，殿山村被认定为广东省第三批「百千万工程」典型村镇。[10]
