镇江社区属雷州市乌石镇，是镇下的社区，统计用区划代码为440882115001，城乡分类为镇中心区。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

这一带最早的建制是1951年的乌石乡，其后依次改为乌石大队（1958年）、乌石村委会（1987年2月）、乌石管理区（1989年），到1999年重新称村民委员会。[1]

该社区在2019年9月公布的广东省2018年「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位中榜上有名。[1]
