潭朗村属雷州市乌石镇，是镇下的行政村，统计用区划代码为440882115222，城乡分类为村庄。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
据博雅地名网所载，1623年，洪、陈、王三姓迁来建潭朗村，同治六年（1867年）后改迁此处；1922年，洪、陈两姓村民又迁往下寮仔建村，全村共有六个自然村。[1]
1952年至1956年，这里是乌石的潭朗乡。1956年划入覃斗公社，称潭朗社；1958年分成潭洪、潭陈、潭何三个单位，合称潭朗三十大队；1960年并为潭朗大队。1987年2月改设村委会，1989年称管理区，1999年定为村民委员会。[1]
在2019年9月公布的广东省2018年「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位中榜上有名。[1]
