新糖社区在雅塘镇西南部，2005年9月成立，社区委员会设在雅塘塘甫。名称来自它的所在地原雅塘糖厂。[1]

概况[edit]

社区辖区共0.5平方千米，居民396户、1115人，农产品中有苦瓜。社区设有一所完全小学，另有一家私营糖业公司，道路通石石公路，为水泥混凝土路面。[1]

2019年9月，社区列入「2018年广东省“民主法治示范村（社区）”创建单位」。[1]
