山祖村是广东省湛江市廉江市河唇镇的行政村，因坐落在山祖嶂山脚而得名，后分上山祖、下山祖两处，村委会设在两者之间。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
1950年至1953年，山祖、洪屋地、三家瑶等八个自然村联合成乡，其余有下山祖、苏茅坡、杨桂塘、木叶山、嶂下。[1] 山祖大队设于1958年，1987年称管理区，1999年起为村委会，沿用至今。[1]
文化[edit]
2019年9月，山祖村列入「2018年广东省民主法治示范村（社区）创建单位」名单；2021年1月入选「湛江市2020年度全市文明村」。[1]
