东村是广东省湛江市廉江市河唇镇的行政村，位于龙平村东侧。为避免与龙平村的原名重复，原来的村名龙平改称东村。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
东村早在1950年就是一个行政村，1953年称乡，1958年为河唇公社下的大队；1983年再称乡，1987年称管理区，1999年起为村委会。[1]
文化[edit]
2019年9月，东村列入「2018年广东省民主法治示范村（社区）创建单位」名单。博雅地名网把它写作“东村村”。[1]
