黄村社区是广东省湛江市廉江市罗州街道辖下的社区，1991年2月成立，主体是垌心、村仔、黄廖三条自然村，因靠近黄村街得名[1][2][3]。

地理与社会[edit]

社区占地约1平方公里：东到南北大道，南临西街社区，西靠廉江河，北到祥和花园[2]。简介称社区分16个居民小组，常住人口5586人、2244户（均未注明年份），辖内有湛江幼儿师范学校、市二中、市第六小学、育才小学、市一建公司及186家个体工商户[2]。社区曾发动居民集资，安装路灯32盏，并把1300多平方米的道路改铺硬底[2]。2004年5月廉城镇撤销、设街道后，社区归罗州街道管辖[1]。2020年12月和2019年9月，黄村社区先后入选「2020年广东省民主法治示范村（社区）创建单位」和「2018年广东省民主法治示范村（社区）创建单位」名单[1]。
