新北社区是广东省湛江市廉江市罗州街道辖下的社区，1991年2月组建，名称来自原新兴管理区按位置分设的新北、新中、新南三个居委会[1][3]。

地理与社会[edit]

区域面积约1.2平方公里：东到龙塘路大桥头，南到绿洲水泥厂，西到中山三路的市邮政局，北到丽波宾馆和物资局大楼[2]。简介称有居民3087户、总人口7764人（未注明年份），辖内有幼儿园、新兴市场、新北市场等，党支部建立于1991年2月[2]。2004年5月廉城镇撤销、设街道后，社区归罗州街道管辖；2019年9月，新北社区入选「2018年广东省民主法治示范村（社区）创建单位」名单[1]。
