外墩村是湛江市徐闻县下属前山镇辖的行政村，村委会驻在外墩村，村名据此而来。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1950至1958年间先后是南安乡、初级社和高级社的辖地；1959至1985年仍属南安乡；1986年立外墩大队，1998年起为村民委员会。[1]

荣誉[edit]

2019年9月，外墩村列入「2018年广东省民主法治示范村（社区）创建单位」名单；2023年5月，村内的港尾村获广东省爱卫会授予「2022年广东省卫生村」称号。[1]
