历史沿革[edit]

东莞乡始于1949年，1961年改为大队，1982年复称乡；1986年设村委会，1988年称管理区，1999年定名东莞村民委员会。[1]

荣誉[edit]

2021年1月入选「湛江市2020年度全市文明村」；2023年5月，东莞村及北海、田圮、那巢、那策、后埚、南田等村获评「2022年广东省卫生村」；2019年9月列入「2018年广东省“民主法治示范村（社区）”创建单位」名单。[1]
