历史沿革[edit]
1983年以前，这里隶属海康县沈塘公社，之后划归遂溪县城月镇；此后1986年设平衡村委会，随后1989年称管理区，继而1999年4月定名平衡村民委员会。[1]
荣誉[edit]
平衡村被列入广东省2018年「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单，时间是2019年9月。[1]
