历史沿革[edit]

1954年隶属于乾留乡，1958年隶属于乾留大队，1987年自乾留村委会独立，成立后田村委会，1989年更名为管理区，1999年起定为后田村民委员会。[1]

文化[edit]

2026年3月，后田村被认定为广东省第三批「百千万工程」典型村镇。[1]

湛江市2020年度文明村评选中，该村于2021年1月入选。[1]

2019年9月，该村被列为广东省民主法治示范村（社区）创建单位（2018年度）。[1]
