1950年设行政村，1951年归周灵乡，1959年从周灵乡分出，成立山内大队；1983年称山内乡，1986年设村委会，1989年称管理区，1999年为村民委员会。[1]

荣誉[edit]

2019年9月，山内村列入「2018年广东省“民主法治示范村（社区）”创建单位名单」。[1]
