沈村位于遂溪县洋青镇，是镇辖行政村，由古村分出。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

该村的前身是蒲岭乡（1950年），组初级社（1951年），办高级社（1955年），设古村大队（1958年），设古村管理区（1983年），起设古村村委会（1986年），改称古村村民委员会（1999年）；2015年中旬，古村村民委员会按上级的机构重组精神拆分，分出沈村民委员会。[1]

荣誉[edit]

2026年3月，沈村进入「广东省第三批“百千万工程”典型村镇」；2019年9月，列入「2018年广东省“民主法治示范村（社区）”创建单位」之列。[1]
