洋青村位于洋青镇中部，村内有六洞坑、南边洋两座水库，以火龙果种植为村集体经济的主体。^[2]

历史沿革[edit]

1958年以前是洋青乡，设洋青大队（1958年），改设洋青乡（1984年），设村委会（1986年），称管理区（1989年），起为洋青村民委员会（1999年）。^[1]

据百度百科，洋青村发展火龙果种植约十年，种植面积达到一万余亩，村里成立合作社，以土地入股的方式规模经营；村内另有六洞坑、南边洋两座水库。^[2]

2021年9月，洋青村以火龙果列入广东省农业农村厅公布的第二批「一村一品、一镇一业」专业村；2021年1月，村名列「湛江市2020年度全市文明村」；2019年9月，列入「2018年广东省“民主法治示范村（社区）”创建单位」之列。^[1]
