乾塘社区是广东省湛江市坡头区乾塘镇下辖的社区，属镇中心区。2020年10月由原三合社区居民委员会分设而成[1]。

历史沿革[edit]

三合在2002年设社区居民委员会；2020年10月，该居委会拆成两个单位，一个是三合村民委员会，一个就是乾塘社区居民委员会，二者都归乾塘镇管辖[1][2]。

地名由来[edit]

当地的说法是，陈氏宗祠西北有一口大塘，在八卦里处于乾的方位，社区因此叫乾塘[1]。

荣誉[edit]

乾塘社区名列「2018年广东省“民主法治示范村（社区）”创建单位」，名单于2019年9月公布；2022年9月又被认定为湛江市文明村和先进文明村[1]。
