坛坡村又称云头坡村，是湛江市霞山区东新街道下辖的行政村，位于霞山区西部，辖坛坡、沙坡2个自然村[1]。村落据称始建于元代，先祖自福建莆田辗转经调丰村迁入[1]。

历史沿革[edit]

据百度百科，村名先后为南柳（堰）头坡村、云头坡村，1977年定名坛坡村[1]。隶属关系的变化见于博雅地名网：新中国成立初期（1950年5月起）为潮满区南丰乡辖地，1956年5月成为中平乡初级社，1958年11月并入红光人民公社，1959年6月转属海头人民公社的南丰营。其后依次归海头区公所南丰管区（1982年12月）、海头乡南丰管区（1987年11月）、海头镇坛坡管理区（1993年5月），1999年设坛坡村委会，2002年5月归海头街道，2010年1月起归东新街道[2][3]。

地理与人口[edit]

村址在海积冲积平原，旁有南柳河和沙坡水库，总面积约80公顷[1]。2015年末登记的户籍人口为1069人；世代居住的有吴、陈、洪三个姓氏，吴姓居多，村民讲雷州方言[1]。

名胜古迹[edit]

村内保存传统雷州民居10座，以及文华庙等7座古庙宇[1]。

荣誉[edit]

据百度百科，坛坡村先后得过省、市两级的生态文明村称号，另有湛江市卫生村、广东省卫生村和湛江市民主法治村等荣誉[1]。博雅地名网另载：2022年9月，村获认定为「2022年湛江市文明村」；2024年1月，确定为「2023年广东省民主法治示范村（社区）」[2]。
