平垌村隶属廉江市高桥镇，村委会设在平垌村，位置在4条自然村当中[1]。
历史沿革[edit]
村名的由来是田垌平坦开阔，村民遂以「平垌」命名[1]。建制变化依次为：1949年设平垌乡政府，1962年为平垌大队，1982年又叫平垌乡，1983年起称村委会，1986年称管理区，1998年恢复村委会之名并沿用[1]。
荣誉[edit]
2026年1月，平垌村获评广东省第二批「百千万工程」典型村[1]。
