录霞社区在广东省湛江市霞山区，归新兴街道管辖，属主城区。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
社区最初是1987年7月经霞山区人民政府批准设置的“霞赤二居民委员会”。2002年8月，辖区重新划分，区政府批准其改名为录霞社区居委会，此后一直使用这个名称。[1]
名称由来[edit]
辖区内有绿塘路通过，是社区的主干道。“绿”字的粤语读音与“录”相同，社区借“录”字取名，再加上霞山区的“霞”字。[1]
2019年9月，该社区名列广东省2018年“民主法治示范村（社区）”创建单位。[1]
