环湖社区是湛江市霞山区爱国街道辖下的社区，因辖区主要环绕霞湖公园而得名。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

社区的源头是1979年设立的第四居委会，1982年才有现在的名称；2002年区域重划，环湖居委会和霞湖居委会合成一个，即今环湖社区。[1]

2019年9月，社区上了广东省2018年度「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建名单。[1]

名胜古迹[edit]

霞湖公园取名于园中的人工湖霞湖，定名在1964年，此后2006年做过整治，2019年水上乐园改造竣工。[2]
