汉口社区属湛江市霞山区爱国街道，因辖区内有汉口路而得名。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
1961年设立的汉口居委会是社区的起点。到2003年，区域重划，解放街道原有的青岛、逸仙、汉口三处居委会合为一体，成为汉口社区居委会，转由爱国街道管理。[1]
2019年9月，社区进入广东省2018年度「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建名单。[1]
