历史沿革[edit]
四九村由三合、廊村、凌村、龙田4个村委会合并而成，这一带早先称「四九地片」，合并后取以为名。[1][2] 清代属鹤山县附城都，民国时期属第四区；1958年归址山公社，分设三合、凌村、龙田、廊村4个大队；1983年为4个乡；1986年为4个管理区；1998年为4个村委会；2005年合并成四九村民委员会。[1]
经济[edit]
全村有耕地3000亩，另有鱼塘1000亩；村级的经济收入为45万元，有17个村小组的收入在5万至12万元之间。村与村之间的水泥路已基本相通。[1]
名胜古迹[edit]
兄弟义士坊在凌村，建于民国年间，属近现代重要史迹和代表性建筑，1983年8月15日公布为第1批文物保护单位。[3]
