山前村是大江镇所辖的行政村，属广东省江门市台山市，在镇的北部，四邻是大巷村、沙冲村和水步镇的荔枝塘。村子坐落在一座小山的前面，村名由此而来。[1]

全村划为1个网格，下设9个村民小组，其中有果园、东南、西溪、肯堂和朝字、永字开头的几个村；常住860人，户籍登记486户、1735人。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

明清时期，山前一带归文章都管辖；民国年间属台山县第二区的斗洞乡。[1]

村里在2014年得到镇里的「发展壮大村级集体经济奖」，2019年被评为镇先进基层党组织。[1]
