横湖村是台山市台城街道南部的一个行政村，属广东省江门市，地处大汾片和西洋片的交界处。东面是廛溪村，西面是礼边村，南面挨着市农科所，北面连着城南社区；村委会在沙岗湖路旁。[1][2]

全村约6.86平方千米，下分17个村民小组；2025年12月户籍人口2242人（553户），另有流动人口305人。[1] 台城南新区开发以后，横湖靠出租土地、商铺和厂房壮大集体经济，现以第三产业为主；村内1908年建成的侨村龙扬村（俗称「十八踏」）经过修复，已成为游客常去的地方。[1][3]

地理环境[edit]

村境地势平坦，河网交错。南北向的湖头路与东西向的杜盈线在村中构成丁字形的交通骨架；山前王自然村旁有一座占地几十亩的小山。[2] 803路、807路公交车经过本村。[1]

村里有横湖小学和卫生站，公厕14间，道路和自来水都已通到各村，村道路灯和视频监控也已覆盖全村。岗背、宝生、迎新等9个村民小组建成了风貌统一的新村场。[1]

2003年台城南新区的规划开始成形，2012年进入大规模开发，横湖村借此通过土地置换，把村民的自留地换成了商铺，并引来福肯科技、信腾汽车维修等企业落户，当地称之为「房东经济」。[3][2] 村里的物业包括凯旋豪庭的铺位和沙岗湖路边的厂房；工业企业有福肯科研设备和扬名威五金制品两家。农业则以蔬菜、家鱼和桉树材为主。[1][2]

据百度百科，2024年村组两级的总收入超过1440万元，总投资5亿元的和力体育中心项目也落户本村。[2] 台山市人民政府网站2024年的报道称，村里每年替村民缴纳城乡居民医保五十多万元、养老保险六万多元；60岁以上的村民每人每月可领250元生活津贴，全年合计一百三十多万元。[3]

名胜古迹[edit]

龙扬村始建于1908年，由乡贤刘希玉牵头，华侨集资建起18间式样统一、中西合璧的房屋。台山话把一间屋所占的地叫作「沓」，村子因而被称为「18沓」，后来在正式文书中写成「十八踏」。[3] 后来龙扬村渐渐成了「空心村」，侨房无人照管，年久失修，还曾失窃。横湖村后来引进文旅开发团队整体修复，2022年首家咖啡店开业，此后这里成为台城南新区的热门打卡地点；开发期间，海外业主（其中有旅美画家刘达滚）组成了一个委员会，负责与运营方协调各项事务。[3][2]

2019年，江门市授予横湖村「文明村」称号。到2024年，村里入选江门市「百千万工程」典型村，获评2023年度广东省乡村治理示范村，并被评为江门市先进基层党组织。[1]
