有色金属加工是主业，涉及铝型材、冶铸、纸箱包装和通讯电缆。2009年村、组两级合计收入6046万元，其中村级1560万元，组级4486万元，人均分红4112元。[1]

村里配合广佛新干线工程，开发留用土地两百多亩，并投入一千五百多万元修建沥水南路、工业南路；2008年起实行“大市政”管理，并全面启用视频监控。[1]
