凤池社区前身是凤池村，地处大沥镇城区西侧，1.45平方公里，包含凤池、小布、西边三条自然村，分凤东、凤西、西边、小布四个村民小组。[1]

铝型材是主要工业产品，坚美铝型材有限公司和凤铝铝业有限公司设在辖区；商业以装饰材料为主。2009年工农业总收入12.3亿元，村委会纯收入约1943万元。[1]

文化[edit]

2000年村里出资三千八百多万元建大沥实验小学，学校相继评为南海市、佛山市、广东省一级学校；附属幼儿园2001年建成，2003年底评为广东省一级幼儿园。[1]

文体设施包括五座文体楼、四个灯光篮球场和凤东、凤西两处中心公园，2009年获评「四星级」健康村。[1]
