联滘社区前身为联滘村，处大沥镇中部，离镇城区1公里；西到佛山约8公里，东到广州约9公里，面积1.6平方公里。[1]
地理环境[edit]
广佛公路、桂和公路擦村而过，广佛高速公路从村域上空横过。滘口和上漖两条自然村，组成两个村民小组。[1]
人口民族[edit]
986户，三千二百九十八人，外来流动人口约一千五百。[1]
经济[edit]
改革开放前，村民年均收入仅173元，每人每月口粮只有35斤稻谷。到2009年，全村工农业总产值6.9亿多元，集体纯收入2383万元。[1]
为配合广佛国际商贸城中心区建设，村里的141.011亩土地被政府征用，另有894.294亩出租，租期40年，从2009年元旦起算，每平方米月租3.5元，其后每三年在上一周期基础上加10%。[1]
