沥兴社区居委会设于2005年5月，在环镇路9号办公，管辖约1.2平方公里。[1]
地理环境[edit]
辖区北到联窖路，南到广云路，西起南美集团公司，东抵沥苑路；大沥市场、环镇路、兴隆街、江南路等老商业街区在其中，商业气氛浓。[1]
人口民族[edit]
户籍居民1998户，七千多人；辖区高层楼宇79座，另有十多个安全文明小区。[1]
文化[edit]
社区男子篮球队的战绩：2007年同时夺得镇、区、市三级百村杯冠军，2008年蝉联佛山总冠军并得珠江三角洲村际赛亚军，2009年又囊括三级冠军。[1]
社区先后被评为南海区「文明社区」和「青年文明号」、广东省「六好」平安和谐社区。[1]
