深村是佛山市禅城区石湾镇街道的行政村，位于城南中心组团的核心地带，四至为文华路、深宁路、华远东路和影荫路，面积约1.5平方千米。[1]村名据说由南宋咸淳年间番禺蔡姓渔民聚居的「海心沙」演变而来。[2]

历史沿革[edit]

据村情介绍，南宋咸淳年间，番禺市桥蔡边的蔡姓渔民迁到这里，聚居于「海心沙」（约在今狮头岗、显坊、渡口巷一带）；后来河流冲积使沙洲与陆地连成一片，称「心沙」，方言中「心」「深」同音，又衍称「深沙」，成村后定名深村。[2]

1987年3月，深村乡政府改成村民委员会；1989年8月又改为深村管理办事处；1999年4月恢复村民委员会。[1]2003年9月，该村划归新设的澜石街道；2006年6月，澜石街道再并入石湾镇街道。[1]

人口与经济[edit]

村情介绍称，村里常住人口5900多人，外来人员两万多人（该介绍未注明年份），土地约1573.14亩；经济实行二级架构，设经联社和15个经济股份社，党员166人。[2]深村早年以加工五金、铁艺、卷闸、保险柜、库门等著称，1992年市政府征地后，产业转向物业与土地出租及「三旧」改造，村内有4个正在经营的农贸市场。[2]

2007年，深村获评广东省卫生村；2008年在广东省首届传统武术项目锦标赛中取得集体一等奖。[2]2022年10月列入淘宝村名单，2024年1月被确定为2023年度广东省民主法治示范村（社区），2024年8月列入佛山市「百千万工程」第二批典型镇村，2026年1月获评广东省第二批「百千万工程」典型村。[1]

名胜古迹[edit]

康宁聂公祠位于深村，明万历四十七年（1619年）始建，清代重建，留有部分明代的建筑风格和用料。[3]
