历史沿革[edit]
1987年3月，奇槎乡政府改为奇槎村民委员会；1989年8月设为管理区办事处；1999年4月又恢复村民委员会。2003年9月划归新设的澜石街道，2006年6月随该街道并入石湾镇街道；2013年村改社区，设奇槎社区居民委员会。[1]
人口与土地[edit]
博雅地名网所载村情介绍称，原奇槎村有5个村民小组，共704户，常住1878人，外来约3800人（均未注明年份）。土地合计约1500亩，其中农用地600亩，集体建设用地430亩，宅基地290亩，国有土地180亩。[2]
2019年9月，奇槎社区列入2018年广东省「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单。[1]
