峰下是汕头市澄海区广益街道的社区，在澄海中心城区西北部，因村子位于西山山峰之下而得名。[1][3]

历史沿革[edit]

明朝中叶，福建莆田的林姓人来到西山山峰下建村，后来又有南洋村的王姓人迁入。[2][3]1563年（嘉靖四十二年）起隶澄海县中外莆都；1946年并入龙华乡，1953年与下布、北陇、内陇四村并成华富乡。1983年设峰下乡，1986年设峰下村，1996年1月改属广益街道，2002年设峰下社区。[2]

经济[edit]

社区现有人口1560人、350户，耕地250亩，种水稻和蔬菜。辖区内有工业企业100多家，以玩具产品为主，2009年工业总产值超过3亿元，集体经营总收入43万元，人均纯收入4087元。[1]
