莲新社区是广东省汕头市潮阳区海门镇下辖的社区。社区临近莲花峰风景区，又是新成立的居民区，故名莲新。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

该地1984年设莲新乡，1988年改为管理区，1999年定名莲新居委会，沿用至今。[1]2019年9月，社区名列「2018年广东省“民主法治示范村（社区）”创建单位」。[1]
