凤北是汕头市潮阳区城南街道的社区，在潮阳城区潮海路中段，辖区约1.4平方公里。它由凤岗乡分出，在凤岗之北，因此得名。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
南宋祥兴年间先民来此建村，名凤岗乡。新中国成立后人口增多，凤岗乡一分为四，即凤上、凤南、凤北、凤东。凤北1962年设大队，归城郊公社；1984年改乡，1988年改管理区，1999年成立居委会。[1]
人口与经济[edit]
社区约有1856户，村民10500人，分三个片区；集体收入主要靠约200亩鱼池和400亩水旱地的租金。2019年9月进入广东省2018年度「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建名单，2021年12月获2021年广东省卫生村称号。[1]
