历史沿革[edit]
民国年间在棉城南薰乡境内，1999年之前归南门居民区管；南门居民区拆分时，后坎、双树、火旺园三个自然村合起来成立后双园居委会。[1]
人口与经济[edit]
2009年社区总人口2355人，1039户，其中农业人口1307人；当年集体经济收入为9.9万元，另有工业产值为120万元、农业产值110万元。社区有蔬菜基地56亩、鱼池60多亩，2007年被广东省评为“六好”平安和谐社区，2021年12月获2021年广东省卫生村称号。[1][2]
