永同社区在汕头老城区，隶属金平区小公园街道，设立时归同益街道。辖区面积约0.1平方千米。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

永平里、同志里都在辖区内，各取一字得名。[1]

此前归升平区中马街道管辖；2002年1月，原永同居委会和民生居委会的部分地域合并成永同居委会；2003年汕头行政区划调整后归金平区同益街道。[1]2019年，新福、永祥、海安、同益四个街道并入新设的小公园街道，社区随之改隶。[2]

辖区内有交通银行和新华酒店，水产、服装、食品、毛衫、皮具等是主要行业，主干道有同益路、外马路、中山路和利安北路。[1]
