金福社区在汕头老城区，隶属金平区小公园街道，设立时归新福街道。辖区面积约0.08平方千米。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

金山街和五福路前原是一处出名的繁华集市，社区由原金山、五福两个居委会合并，各取一字，得名金福。[1]

此前归升平区新风街道管辖；2002年1月，原五福、金山居委会和永通居委会的一部分合并为金福居委会，其后在2003年3月的区划调整中划入金平区新福街道。[1]2019年，新福、永祥、海安、同益四个街道并入新设的小公园街道，社区随之改隶。[2]

辖区有水产收购站、永平供电收费处和五福路小学，居民经营干鲜果和海产品，主干道为韩堤路。[1]
