寿山社区在汕头老城区，隶属金平区小公园街道，设立时归新福街道。辖区面积约0.05平方千米。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

辖区原有寿山里，故以为名。[1]

寿山居委会设于1973年，当时归升平区福合街道管辖。建国初期叫“福寿山”，新福街道于2001年12月成立，名称随后简化为“寿山”；其后在2003年3月的区划调整中划入金平区新福街道。[1]2019年，新福、永祥、海安、同益四个街道并入新设的小公园街道，社区随之改隶。[2]

社区概况[edit]

社区处在老市区，地势低洼，危房较多，居民经营干鲜果和海产品；辖区设有新福工商所，主干道为镇平路和福平路。[1]2019年9月，寿山社区入选「2018年广东省“民主法治示范村（社区）”创建单位」。[1]
