历史沿革[edit]

片区毗邻汕头市区西部的红树林自然保护区，辖区内有红树湾住宅区，因此得名。社区2013年6月4日成立，属金平区鮀江街道。[1]

文化[edit]

2019年9月列入2018年广东省「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单。[1]
