蓬洲北社区是汕头市金平区鮀江街道下辖的社区，原蓬洲所城北部，辖区面积0.134平方千米，办公地在蓬洲大街123号。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

据博雅地名网，明洪武二年（1369年）朝廷在厦岭设蓬洲守御千户所，洪武二十七年（1394年）迁到西埕。嘉靖年间（1522年—1566年），翁万达奏请军民同城而居，周边村落的居民陆续迁入，称蓬洲所城。新中国成立后蓬洲村先后属澄海县、汕头市郊区、升平区，设蓬洲大队、乡政府和居委会。1997年10月28日体制改革，蓬洲分为东、西、南、北四个居委会，此社区即以其方位命名，起初属龙泉街道，2001年起归鮀江街道。[1]

辖区有塑料工艺厂、茶叶经营部、汽车修理场、加油站、采石场等企业六家；农业有蔬菜种植、鱼池养殖和家禽家畜饲养，集体收入来自自留用地和零星土地的出租、承包。[1]

2017年10月获「第一批广东省卫生村」称号。[1]
