金桐社区是汕头市金平区广厦街道下辖的社区，2007年由金禧居委会拆分设立，因主要辖区是住宅区金桐苑而得名。[1][2]

2007年，原金禧居委会一分为二，分出金桐居委会，名称自成立起沿用至今。[1][2]

地理环境[edit]

社区东至金新北路，西与浮西社区相接，南面与金禧社区的金杉苑、金桦苑、金椰苑相邻，北面与浮东社区的东裕园相邻，居委会设在金棕苑7幢。辖区面积0.264平方千米，分5个居民小组。[1]
